Karachi, the most populous and biggest city located on the coastline of Sindh province in southern Pakistan, is a center of entertainment and joy for visitors. There are several Places to visit in Karachi, that you should never miss if you plan to go there. Following are 10 of those places that visitors must see.

The first and the most important place to visit, I think, is Mazar-e-Quaid. This mausoleum has a great history. It is a symbol of struggle, determination and success. For different people, the meaning of the word success, might be different; but for the great leader, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, success was a separate land for the Muslims of subcontinent. He clearly understood the difference between culture and customs of Hindus and Muslims and with his wisdom and leadership qualities he succeeded in acquiring a separate land for Muslims.

Pakistan Deep Water Container Port, also called China port, has become a new visiting place for the people living in Karachi. As the name suggests, this port was built under an alliance between Pakistan and China. This is also a must visit place for it’s an afresh constructed site in Karachi with the pleasurable sights of the sea.

The Port of Karachi, called Bandargah Karachi, one of the busiest seaports in South Asia, is also a must visit place. There have been many different ports on this spot in the history.

The Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, which is also called Port Qasim, is the third port located in Karachi.

On the other hand, there are beaches in Karachi. People go and arrange huts for themselves and enjoy the freshness that the nature has to offer. There are some beaches that are open for public and others where only the landlords stay who own he huts. There are hotels to stay with the qualities of friendly staff and hygienic environment. You can enjoy a nice picnic there, or else you can have a nice meal at a hotel with friends and family.

One of the most entertaining places in Karachi is Port Grand. You can have delicious street food. If you want to promenade beside the beachfront or you want to stretch your legs and relax, you must enjoy the leisurely atmosphere of Port Grand.

The Quaid-e-Azam House, the residence of the founder of Pakistan, which is now turned into a museum dedicated to his style and approach to life. You can explore the lifestyle of the great leader. All the things in that house tell us how punctual and dedicated he was to his work and to life.

The wonderful palace built by a Hindu businessman as his summer home is an art gallery and a museum in the present time. The palace was built in 1927 featuring the unique Rajasthan stone palaces style. The palace now hosts cultural and heritage festivals.

Out of the Places to visit in Karachi, The museum and gallery inaugurated in 1990 is an isolated part of an air base, displays most of the aircrafts used by the Pakistan Air Force.  It also features World war 1 and 2 scale models and the air crafts of India, Iraq and Afghanistan captured during different wars. So if you are fascinated by flying objects, this place is a must visit for you.

These tombs, built in between 15th to 18th century, were the home to the ancestors of Sindhi and Balochi tribes. The mystifying cutting in geometric plan is one of a kind and its delicacy gives the impression of woodcarving. The development of graves was finished with the buff sandstones. Antiquarians should never miss this place located in Landhi town in west Karachi.

The ruins of the city of Debal dathing back to 727 AD located at the city now known as Bambore are a great place for history lovers. It features the castle destroyed by Muhammad Bin Qasim and earliest known mosque in the region. Remains of houses both in citadel and outside are still there.
